Terms of Service

Last updated July 27, 2026

These terms apply to your use of GuestFoyer. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to do so.

1. The service

GuestFoyer lets short-term rental hosts create a welcome guide for each property and publish it to a public web address for their guests. Accounts are currently issued by invitation only.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done through your account.
  • Invitations are issued to a specific person and expire after seven days. Do not share them.
  • Tell us promptly at support@guestfoyer.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Beta status

GuestFoyer is in an early, invite-only phase. Features may change, and we may occasionally take the service offline for maintenance. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can, but you should not rely on GuestFoyer as the only channel through which your guests can reach you or get essential information.

4. Fees

There is currently no charge for GuestFoyer and no payment system in the product. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price and terms in advance, and you will have the choice to accept them or stop using the service. We will never charge you without your explicit agreement first.

5. Your content

The property details, guide text, recommendations and images you add are yours. You keep all rights to them. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store your content, display it to you, and — once you choose to publish a guide — display it to anyone who has that guide's link.

You are responsible for making sure your content:

  • is accurate, particularly safety and emergency information;
  • is yours to publish, including any photographs and any material you did not create yourself;
  • complies with the law and with the rules of any platform, building, association or authority that governs your property; and
  • does not include another person's private information without their permission.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use GuestFoyer for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful;
  • upload malware, or attempt to breach, probe or overload the service or its infrastructure;
  • attempt to access another workspace's data, or any account that is not yours;
  • resell or white-label the service without a written agreement with us; or
  • use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages.

7. Published guides

Publishing a guide makes it readable by anyone who has its link. The link is not guessable, but it is not a secret either — treat a published guide as public. Unpublishing takes the guide and its images offline immediately.

8. Suspension and termination

You can stop using GuestFoyer at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that puts the service or other users at risk, or where we are required to by law. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to put things right.

9. Availability and disclaimer

We work to keep GuestFoyer available and reliable, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GuestFoyer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, bookings or data, arising out of your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will update the date at the top of this page and take reasonable steps to let you know before it takes effect. Continuing to use GuestFoyer after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
